Sheree Knowles, CEO

Sheree Knowles is the visionary behind the HRKS legacy.  She recognized that small to mid-sized companies deserved high-quality fractional human resources solutions.

I’ve loved being part of the genesis of HR, from sitting outside the door to actually being at the board room table. In recent years, we have moved well away from being simply the “HR principal” to a genuine partner in a business where we add value, acting as an integral part of a business’ success strategy. Our work at HRKS adds to your business and there is obvious ROI when you invest in us.”
- Sheree Knowles

HRKS has also been recognized as one of the Top 25 Small Businesses of the Year in Cobb County, GA, in 2021, 2022, 2023, and 2025, as well as the top Minority-Owned Business in 2022

About Sheree

She launched HRKS in 2014 and has been instrumental in the way it has grown and expanded, navigating recent global changes and modern approaches to human resources.

Sheree is a graduate of the Goldman Sachs 10KSB, BoldHaus Playmaker, Ascend Small Business Executive, and the Cobb Chamber Leadership Cobb programs.

Sheree is incredibly proud of HRKS Cares, the company’s community outreach platform, which includes an annual college scholarship given to a business school student at her alma mater, the University of Dayton. Sheree sits on multiple Boards including the Cobb Chamber of Commerce, the University of Dayton School of Business, the Strand Theatre and LiveSafe Resources.  She also volunteers at her church and oversees their entrepreneurial classes.

Outside of work and community involvement, Sheree enjoys running, walking, reading, gardening, and Zumba. The beach is her ‘happy place’ and she spends as much time as possible traveling to beautiful beaches.
